    Bhutan Gangtey Gogona Tour starts from Kathmandu with an interesting tour at places of interest, the city although shattered by the recent earthquake but still retains its heritage sites and monuments. After a pleasant time in Kathmandu board on Druk Air, Bhutan’s National Carrier this short flight of one hour offers super views of Himalayan chain of mountains including Mt. Everest, on reaching Paro airport in Bhutan, beginning tour around Paro after a great flight, with impressive places of Paro historical and cultural area, includes famous Taktsang Monastery known as Tiger’s Nest, 17th-century Ta-Dzong, and Druk Gyaldzong. Tour leads to Thimphu capital of Bhutan and then starting trek from Gangtey Gompa around beautiful Gogona and Kothoka, on leaving the valley of Gangtey at 2,830 meters leads to Phobjikha valley at 3,000m and rural farms villages. This wonderful trek concludes with a drive to Thimphu for last nights in Bhutan and then drive to Paro for a flight back to Kathmandu or other respective destination countries.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels
On reaching Kathmandu via respective airlines well received by company guides and staff for short drive in the hub of Kathmandu city where your hotels located.After checking into your lovely rooms getting refreshed join in at the Hotel lobby for group briefing regarding Bhutan Gangtey-Gogona tour and treks with other useful information to make your stay in Nepal and Bhutan more enjoyable and pleasant.EThe evening includes group welcome dinner in nice Nepalese restaurants with cultural programs as entertainment with the dinner.

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing tour, trek briefing, and preparations.
Morning after hearty breakfast, as per the given time our city and tour guide will lead you to the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of historical importance includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings. Tour leads to famous landmark of Nepal at Swayambhunath Stupa of more than 2,500 years old a Buddhist Chaitya or Stupa with all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha, afternoon back to the hotel, after an interesting tour rest of the day free at leisure and preparation for Bhutan Tour and Treks.

Day 03: Fly to Paro 2,280 / 7,524 ft via Druk Air and transfer to hotel.
Depending upon the flight time to Paro, Bhutan either morning or in afternoon time, Destination Holidays staff transfer you with a short drive to Kathmandu international airport, after checking in boarding in Bhutan national carrier “Druk Air” a super scenic flight to Paro with amazing views of high snow capped peaks including Mt. Everest, Makalu and Kanchenjunga and on reaching at Paro airport with mountains of Bhutan. At Paro airport a, after immigration and visa formalities our guide in Bhutan will receive for the drive to respective hotels in Paro, with a fan afternoon free at leisure.

Day 04: In Paro 2,280m / 7,524 ft for sightseeing tour.
Morning after breakfast, our native guide of Bhutan will take you on a pleasant walk or short drive and hour uphill steep climb to Bhutan’s famous old Taksang Monastery known as Tiger's nest. A place for retreats and meditation of many Buddhist monks and high priest of Bhutan, the monastery located within the overhanging rock cliff with superb views of Paro town and snow capped peaks towards the north, from here with steep downhill a short drive to visit 17th centaury Ta-Dzong, later converted into the National Museum in 1967,afternoon free at leisure for a stroll around Paro shops and markets.

Day 05: Drive to Thimphu 2,320m / 7,656ft (54 k.m.) - 02 hrs journey. 
Morning after breakfast depart for the capital city of Bhutan after a wonderful time in Paro, this is an interesting drive of two hours through the countryside dotted with farm villages and terraces with typical Bhutanese landscapes and Buddhist culture architecture villages. Driving leads at Thimphu one of the few modern city of Bhutan and a capital, interesting to know that Thimphu the only city in the whole world without traffic lights, all the traffic controlled by traffic police and a whistle. In Thimphu check into the best hotels, after refreshment and lunch, our guide will take you on a tour of the memorial stupa, indigenous hospital, where traditional medicine is still practiced and the painting school.

Day 06: In Thimphu for the guided tour at places of interest. 
Morning after breakfast our native guide leads you to respective monasteries and places of interest. After a nice and interesting moment afternoon free to explore the Bhutanese market area 

Day 07: Drive to Gangtey 2,830 m (Distance 180 k.m.) - 05 hrs.
After a wonderful time at Thimphu visiting places of interest, probably Thimphu is the only city in the world without traffic lights so far. Morning after breakfast starting an interesting drive to Gangtey, a scenic journey around mid hills with a fabulous scenery of green landscapes and traditional villages, on arrival check in a farm house for the overnight stop.

Day 08: Trek to Gogona village 3,000 m (15 k.m) - 06 hrs. 
Starting morning walk which will be a long day but interesting passing through farm fields and traditional villages and observing mid hills Bhutanese daily life on farms, the trek leads into the beautiful alpine forest, then finally to Gogona village with a monastery, overnight in guesthouse/lodge.

Day 09: To Khoatokha via Shobju La at 3,600 m (15 k.m) - 06 hrs.
After a good and interesting time at Gogona, starting early for about six hours trek passing beautiful areas of farm lands with terraces and quaint villages and smiley villagers, then with a steep climb on top of Shobju La pass at 3,600 meters the highest point of this fabulous trips with amazing scenery that surrounds this wonderful ridge top. From here descend towards a wide valley to Khoatokha village for the overnight stay at guesthouse/lodge.

Day 10: Trek to Wangdi Phodrang 14 k.m. - 06 hrs walks.
From Khoatokha morning leads on a winding path through the pristine forest of rhododendron-magnolia-birch and fir, pines tree lines and passing several typical Bhutanese hamlets to reach Wangdi Phodrang for the overnight stay in guest house.

Day 11: Trek to Chuzomsa via Tashila pass 2,780 m and drive to Thimphu - 04 hours journey.
Today the last day of trek to a nice village at Chuzomsa, morning walk leads through interesting farmlands and villages with views of distant high snow-capped peaks after a couple of hours of nice trek and then a climb to the last pass of Tashila 3,780 m of this trek to reach at Chuzomsa village for the drive back to Thimphu, from here about four hours of scenic and interesting drive to Thimphu for overnight stop in respective hotels.

Day 12: Morning drive to Paro airport flight for Kathmandu.
As per the flight time to Kathmandu or connecting with other Indian cities, our Bhutan guide transfers you to Paro international airport for the flight back to Kathmandu, or flight to Delhi and to respective destination connecting with other international flight from Delhi onwards. For those flying back to Nepal on reaching Kathmandu airport, our staff will receive and transfer you back to the hotel.

Day 13: International Departure for Homeward bound.
Last day in Nepal in the country of high Himalayan mountains with fascinating culture, after a memorable experience and adventure on Bhutan Gangtey and Gogona Tour and Treks, as per your international flight time our staff transfers you to the airport for the flight homeward bound or to your next port of call and respective countries.
