Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu 1,345 m and then transfer to respective Hotels.
On reaching Kathmandu via respective airlines well received by company guides and staff for short drive in the hub of Kathmandu city where your hotels located. After checking into your lovely rooms getting refreshed join in at the Hotel lobby for group briefing regarding Bhutan Cultural tour with other useful information to make your stay in Nepal and Bhutan more enjoyable and pleasant. The evening includes group welcome dinner in nice Nepalese restaurants with cultural programs as entertainment with the dinner.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing tour, trek briefing, and preparations.
Morning after hearty breakfast, as per the given time our city and tour guide will lead you into the heart of Kathmandu city, for exciting historical and heritage tour of old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square of historical importance, includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings. Tour leads to the famous landmarks of Nepal at Swayambhunath Stupa of more than 2,500 years old a Buddhist Chaitya or Stupa with all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha, afternoon back to the hotel, after an interesting tour rest of the day free at leisure and preparation for Bhutan Cultural Tour.
Day 03: Fly to Paro 2,280 / 7,524 ft via Druk Air and transfer to the hotel.
Depending upon the flight time to Paro, Bhutan either morning or in afternoon time, Destination Holidays staff transfer you with a short drive to Kathmandu international airport, after checking in boarding in Bhutan national carrier “Druk Air” a super scenic flight to Paro with amazing views of high snow-capped peaks including Mt. Everest, Makalu and Kanchenjunga and on reaching at Paro airport with mountains of Bhutan. At Paro airport, after immigration and visa formalities our guide in Bhutan will receive for the drive to respective hotels in Paro, with an afternoon free at leisure.

Day 04: In Paro 2,280m / 7,524 ft for sightseeing tour.
The morning after having breakfast in respective hotels, our native guide of Bhutan will take you on a pleasant walk or short drive an hour uphill steep climb to Bhutan’s famous old Taksang Monastery known as Tiger's Nest. A place for retreats and meditation of many Buddhist monks and high priest of Bhutan, the monastery located within the overhanging rock cliff with superb views of Paro town and snow-capped peaks towards the north, from here with steep downhill a short drive to visit 17th centaury Ta-Dzong, later converted into the National Museum in 1967, 
afternoon free at leisure for the stroll around Paro shops and markets.

Day 05: In Paro tour of Druk Gyaldzong
Another day in Paro, which is a major town of Bhutan after Thimphu steeped in history and historical, cultural including some world heritage sites, our local guide will lead you on a full-day tour of Paro with a visit around ruined fort which was built to commemorate the victory over Tibetan invaders in the 17th century. After an impressive tour of Druk Gyaldzong, afternoon another interesting tour of Bhutan’s National Museum displaying rich collections of ancient treasures with fine arts and weapons.

Day 06: Drive to Thimphu 2,320m / 7,656ft (54 k.m.) - 02 hrs journey
The morning after breakfast depart for the capital city of Bhutan after a wonderful time in Paro, this is an interesting drive of two hours through the countryside dotted with farm villages and terraces with typical Bhutanese landscapes and Buddhist culture architecture villages. Drive slowly reach Thimphu one of the few modern cities of Bhutan and a capital, interesting to know that Thimphu the only city in the whole world without traffic lights, all the traffic controlled by traffic police and a whistle.
In Thimphu check into the best hotels, after refreshment and lunch, our guide will take you on a tour of the memorial stupa, indigenous hospital, where traditional medicine is still practiced and the painting school.

Day 07: Drive back to Paro - 03 hrs with the tour of Simtokh Dzong on a route. 
Morning at leisure for individual activities after a peaceful and pleasant time in Thimphu city, afternoon drive back to Paro, as the ride continues with few stops and a visit of 1927-29 AD fort built by King Shabdung Ngawang Namgyal, who unified the Kingdom of Bhutan. After a pleasant drive and interesting moment on route reaching back at Paro, with time for another short tour of Paro visit of Fort ‘Simtokh Dzong’.

Day 08: Morning drive to Paro airport for respective destinations.
As per the flight time to Kathmandu or connecting with other Indian cities, our Bhutan guide transfer you to Paro international airport for the flight back to Kathmandu, or flight to Delhi and to respective destination connecting with other international flight from Delhi onwards. For those flying back to Nepal on reaching Kathmandu airport, our office staff receives you for transfer back to your hotel.

Day 09: International departure for homeward bound.
Last day in amazing Nepal, after a wonderful time at Bhutan Cultural Tour with grand services of Well Plan Treks, as per your international flight departure and reporting time, our guide and staff transfer you to the airport for your onward flight homeward bound or to next respective countries.
