Mera Peak Climb one of the highest trekking peaks of Nepal Himalaya that rise high above 6,461 m / 21, 1907 ft located within hidden areas of Inkhu valley, east of Khumbu and south of Everest, where very few trekkers and explorer hardly use this path to reach around Mera Peak and Inkhu valley. A great opportunity to trekkers and climb to explore this undisturbed tranquil environment of sheer wilderness enclosed within a series of giant peaks of eastern Khumbu valley with the stunning panorama of surrounding hills and snow-capped mountains.
Mera Peak Climb an adventure of least technical effort where we have used the grade as ‘F’ means Facial Easy taken from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification Systems, where the ascent is reachable however all climbers requires full climbing gears like crampons, ice ax and as well ropes on descent to make the climb a great success and safe. Starting our adventure Mera Peak Climb, taking a short scenic flight to Lukla from the capital Kathmandu at Lukla with time for the refreshing stop, a busy Sherpa town with an airstrip named after late legendary mountaineers ‘Tenzing and Hillary’ the first to conquer Mt. Everest on May 29th, 1953.
From Lukla heading into the pure wilderness away from human settlements and villages crossing high ridges to reach within beautiful Inku valley covered in tall trees of rhododendron, pines, oaks and magnolia and soon green vegetation and tree lines fade to arctic cold temperatures at Mera Base Camp within the ice, moraine and glaciers.
We have set the itinerary with time for rest and practice before the big adventure and a climb on top Mera Peak of least technical difficulty where our expert guide leads you on top facing exceptional views with the array of peaks with Everest, Makalu and as far towards Kanchenjunga in the eastern horizon.
After a successful and safe climb return journey on the same trail allowing you more of scenic views with interesting walks all the way back to Lukla for the flight to Kathmandu with the wonderful memory and adventurous journey on Mera Peak Climbing
