Island Peak Climb within high Khumbu and scenic valley hidden beyond series of giant peaks just south of towering South Face of Everest and Lhotse, a classic adventure on to the summit at above 6,160 m and 20,328 ft high in the midst of magnificent Imja-Tse valley. Island Peak also is known as Imja-Tse Himal, as it is situated in the middle of the beautiful valley placed like an Island thus the name christened as Island Peak, while on the list of NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association) recognized with Imja-Tse.
The grade of Island Peak Climb, we used from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification Systems as PD + which means ‘Per Difficult’ the grading widely used worldwide for alpine climb of a day or more, where climb and trek leads over moraine, ice and glaciers and the climber requires full climbing gear with necessary equipment for the ascent on top Island Peak Climb. We have designed the program and itinerary days much flexible so that all interested climbers and adventurer can join in this fantastic Island Peak Climb, as we have set the trip with enough acclimatization days with the walk to Everest base camp and climb of Kalapathar before the climb of Island Peak.
